After graduating in 1996 from The Culinary Institute of America, Chef Maiani had the opportunity to travel to France where he worked at Hostellerie de L'Etoile,
Le Bec Fin, and L'Essentiel. Upon returning to California, he joined the staff at 71 Saint Peter in San Jose. From there he started his own successful catering
company – Social Gatherings Gourmet Catering. With outstanding cuisine, Chef Maiani was honored with several local awards.
In 2003, Chef Maiani and his wife, Robin, chose to move from California to Columbus. With nearly 15 years experience in the restaurant business, he immediately
joined Ristorante Divino as Executive Chef. At the encouragement of an admiring customer who ultimately became an investor, he was able to acquire another downtown restaurant.
Renamed Bistro 310, his new endeavor quickly became a popular destination for locals and visitors.
Good food and making people happy is Chef Maiani's one true passion – apart from family. Chef Maiani and his wife reside in Columbus with their two young daughters,
Olivia and Emerson.
